A key step of the overall change management process is the first introduction to group technologies. Those technologies can have deep impact on the way work is conducted, on the organization, on the level of employment, and on the companies product and services themselves.

The goal of the introduction phase is to explain as clearly as possible what each technology can bring in terms of quantitative benefits, as well as qualitative ones. Equally essential is to expose the success conditions, to explain the changes in work practices for individuals and groups. Deriving possible consequences in terms of products and services offered is also important.

While keeping the enterprise personality untouched

Each enterprise is unique, in its market, with its peoples.  Group technologies must be applied in a unique way, the one that fits to the enterprise. This cannot be done without the full contribution of its employees and managers. And to contribute they must understand the involved techniques, how they can be used, and what they may bring, in their own situation.

In-depth preparation

From the starting point, the training session must be tailored to participants concerns. A  one or two hours meeting with the management board will contribute to define that personalization and assign responsibilities for further work.  From that starting point various presentations will be prepared from the enterprise perspective.

For long term results

Experience shows that, when successfully prepared, such an introduction session brings unexpected results in terms of ideas and application scenarios. This is mainly the outcome of parallel working groups. In order to keep record of this contributions a session report presents:
