Martin Ader created in April 1996 the company Workflow
& Groupware Stratégies (W&GS) specialized in planning group techniques introduction enterprise
wide. He is representing the Workflow Management Coalition (WfMC) in France.
Previously he was in charge of Wang European Workflow
Product Marketing and represented Wang at the Workflow Management Coalition (WfMC)
Technical Management Committee.

Martin Ader is one of the pioneers of workflow with ten
years of research and development in the scope, within Bull, of two large European
research projects part of ESPRIT group technique researches programs: Intelligent
Workstation (IWS) on the usage of artificial intelligence to assist administrative
business processes, and ITHACA (workflow and object technologies) a large project on
object technology where his team developed an object oriented workflow engine prototype
from which was derived the Bull workflow product FlowPATH, and integrated interpersonal
communication tools developed by an Italian partner.
He has published numerous papers in international revues
and conferences and directed four doctoral thesis on group technologies.
Previously he hold various positions related to Marketing
and Strategies in the areas of large systems, distributed systems, transaction processing,
and data bases mainly applied to finance, insurance, local government, and
administrations. He published in May 1996 a book on group techniques planning inside
enterprises " Management collectif de l'information ", an edition in
Italian was launched in Milano July 1997.
